Regulatory Status
Olive Pay is a duly licensed financial services provider operating as a Payment Solution Service Provider (PSSP), Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP), and Super-Agent under the regulation of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Services
Olive Pay provides services including but not limited to: Payment processing, Agency banking services, POS terminal services, Bill payments and collections, and other financial services as may be introduced from time to time.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must: Be at least 18 years old, Provide accurate and complete information, and Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access if these conditions are not met.
User Obligations
You agree to: Provide accurate and up-to-date information, Maintain the confidentiality of your account and credentials, Use the platform only for lawful purposes, and Not engage in fraudulent, suspicious, or illegal transactions.
KYC and Compliance
As a regulated institution, Olive Pay is required to conduct Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) checks. You agree to provide all required documentation and consent to verification, screening, and monitoring of your transactions.
Transactions and Limits
All transactions are subject to applicable limits, regulatory thresholds, and internal risk controls. Olive Pay reserves the right to decline, delay, or reverse transactions where necessary for compliance or security reasons.
Fees and Charges
Applicable fees for services will be communicated via our platform, website, or service channels. By using our services, you agree to pay all applicable fees.
Data Protection and Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act. By using our services, you consent to such data processing.
Service Availability
We strive to ensure uninterrupted service but do not guarantee that our services will be available at all times. We are not liable for service interruptions due to: System maintenance, Network failures, or Third-party service disruptions.
Limitation of Liability
Olive Pay shall not be liable for: Losses arising from user negligence or misuse, Delays or failures caused by third parties, or Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Fraud and Security
We reserve the right to: Monitor transactions for suspicious activity, Suspend or block accounts where fraud is suspected, and Report suspicious transactions to relevant authorities.
Third-Party Services
Our platform may integrate with third-party providers. Olive Pay is not responsible for the performance or actions of such third parties.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services: If you breach these Terms, If required by law or regulation, or If suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
